Hedgehog's Dilemma is a band that formed in 2010. We were a group of 5 high school freshmen getting together on weekends to write and play music, and to eat freezer pizzas. Thanks Mrs. Pinard. We went through a lot, as friends. We tried endlessly to record the music that we were making, but it never worked out. Our personal lives began to interfere. We release this record now, after the five of us have moved on to Boston, Rochester, Burlington, Staten Island, and of course, Manchester, officially, for the first time. It is a complete picture of who we are as a band, and who we were. This will be the only release for Hedgehog's Dilemma. The Hedgehog's Dilemma is an analogy about the challenges of human intimacy. It describes a situation in which a group of hedgehogs all seek to become close to one another in order to share their heat during cold weather. However, once accomplished, they cannot avoid hurting one another with their sharp quills. They must step away from one another. Though they all share the intention of a close reciprocal relationship, this may not occur for reasons which they cannot avoid.
